The problem
Environmental site assessment reports are built from a pile of source documents that someone had to sort, label and assemble by hand, report after report.
What we built
- A classifier that reads each source document and decides where it belongs in the report.
- An assembly step that builds the report in the firm's own format from the classified pieces.
- A review pass so a person checks the result before it goes out.
What changed
The classifier reached 98.4% accuracy on the firm's real documents, and the build led directly to a larger six-month engagement.
